Shaft seals - also known under the brand name Simmerrings - ensure a secure seal between the housing and the rotating shaft. They reliably prevent the escape of lubricants such as oil or grease and at the same time protect against the ingress of dirt, dust and moisture.

The seals are usually made of high-quality elastomer and have an integrated sealing lip that runs directly on the shaft surface. They are installed with a tight fit in the housing - ideal for applications in engines, gearboxes, pumps and many other machines and units.
