Rolling Elements
Rolling elements are central components in rolling bearing technology. They enable low-friction movement between the inner and outer rings and essentially determine the load capacity and running properties of a bearing. Depending on the application, different types of rolling elements are used - especially balls, cylindrical rollers and needle rollers.
Balls are the most commonly used rolling elements. They enable particularly low friction and are ideal for high speeds with low to medium loads. Due to their compact design, ball bearings are widely used in machines, electric motors, household appliances and vehicle technology.
Cylindrical rollers offer a high load capacity due to their larger contact area and are ideal for applications with higher radial loads. They are often used in gearboxes, rolling mills, crankshafts and other highly stressed machine units.
Needle rollers are characterized by their small diameter and long length. They are specially designed for tight installation spaces with high loads at the same time. Typical areas of application for needle bearings and needle rollers include gearboxes, camshafts, connecting rods and many mobile and industrial applications.
In our range you will find high-quality rolling elements in various designs and sizes - ideal for repairs, storage or special solutions.
