Fasteners and Retainers
Fastening and securing elements play a crucial role in safely mounting and permanently fixing rolling bearings. They ensure that the bearing stays in the desired position, reducing vibrations and minimizing the risk of loosening or damage.
Adapting sleeves enable bearings with a tapered bore to be attached to cylindrical shafts without additional securing. By pressing the bearings onto the adapter sleeve, the radial bearing clearance can be specifically reduced, with flexible positioning possible at any point on the shaft.
Withdrawal sleeves are also used to fasten bearings with a tapered bore, but also make disassembly easier. The tapered sleeve is pressed into the bearing bore and the bearing is axially supported, for example by a shaft shoulder.
Locknuts securely fix bearings to shafts or adapter sleeves and simplify assembly and removal, while shaft nuts provide precise axial fastening - on both cylindrical and tapered shafts.
Tab washers reliably secure locknuts. Their inner tabs grip into the groove of the shaft or adapter sleeve, while the outer tabs are bent into the nut to secure them. Retaining brackets fix locknuts with screws, which are additionally protected with locking elements to prevent unintentional loosening.
Our range of fastening and securing elements guarantees you high quality for secure and long-lasting bearing fastening.
